Blobstash is a free game where you open packs, collect 2,080 original blobs, trade with friends, and play quiz games called Stashes. You can play alone or with your whole class in a live game. Teachers can also make classes, assign homework and see reports.

1. Go to blobstash.com and tap Create account.
2. Pick a username: 3–20 letters, numbers or underscores. Please don't use your real name.
3. Pick a password with at least 8 characters, including a letter and a number. Type it twice.
4. Teachers: tick I'm a teacher. Everyone else can leave it unticked.
5. Tap Create account. You start with 500 tokens.

You don't need an email address. Kids under 13 should ask a parent, guardian or teacher first.

Tap Log in, enter your username and password, and tap Log in. You stay logged in on that device for 30 days unless you log out.

Yes, but only in live games. On the sign-in screen, tap Join a game with a code (no account needed). Then enter the game code and pick a nickname. Guests can't earn tokens or keep blobs, so make an account to start a collection.

Any phone, tablet, Chromebook or computer with a modern web browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. There's nothing to download.

• iPhone/iPad (Safari): tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
• Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
• Chromebook/computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon in the address bar.

On a computer, everything is in the menu on the left. On a phone, the main pages are along the bottom: Home, Packs, Blobs, Stashes, Market and Trades (teachers see Classes instead of Trades). Everything else is under the ☰ button at the top right: Join a live game, Classes, Weekly Shop, Leaderboard, Settings, Help, your public profile and Log out.

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Change username, type the new name.
3. Enter your current password and tap Update username.

The new name shows up everywhere right away. If it says the name is taken or not allowed, try a different one.

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Change password, enter your current password, then the new one twice.
3. Tap Update password.

This signs you out on every other device. That's useful if someone else knew your old password.

Blobstash doesn't use email, so there's no "reset link". Instead:

• Students: ask your teacher. In your class's Students tab, they can tap Reset password to get a temporary password for you.
• Everyone else: email support@blobstash.com from a parent's or teacher's email with your username, and we'll help.

When you log in with a temporary password, Blobstash takes you to Settings to choose a new one. Use the temporary password as your "current password".

Ask a friend who has you on their Friends list, or your teacher, who can see your username on the class list. You can also email support@blobstash.com with any details you remember.

Log in with your username and that temporary password. Blobstash will ask you to pick a new password right away. Type the temporary one in Current password, then choose your new one.

To protect accounts, Blobstash pauses log-ins after several wrong passwords. Wait about 15 minutes and try again, or ask your teacher to reset your password.

Sessions last 30 days. Changing your password logs you out on every other device, and a teacher or admin resetting your password logs you out everywhere. Just log in again; your blobs and tokens are safe.

An admin suspended the account for breaking the Community Guidelines. If you think it's a mistake, email support@blobstash.com with your username.

Go to Settings → Delete my account. Enter your password and type your username to confirm. This permanently deletes your blobs, banners, tokens, stashes, trades, friends, classes and homework progress, and it can't be undone.

Please use one account just for you, and keep your password secret. Using extra accounts to send yourself tokens or items breaks the rules.

• Daily reward: claim free tokens on the Home page every day (see below).
• Stashes: every correct answer earns 2 tokens, up to 300 a day. This counts in Study mode, Blob Fishing, Blitz and live games.
• Sell blobs and banners you don't want.
• Complete a pack to earn a big reward (see Collections).
• Trade or sell on the Market to other players.

Tokens can't be bought with real money.

Tap Claim on the Home page once every 24 hours for 300 tokens. Come back on the next day to build a streak: each day adds 50 more, up to 7 days. If you miss more than a day, the streak starts over.

You reached today's limit of 300 tokens from Stashes. Keep practicing! Your correct answers still count toward Scholar Packs and homework. Tokens from Stashes come back the next day.

You earn one free Scholar Pack for every 100 correct answers in Stashes. It can't be bought. You'll find it under Packs → Special packs, where it shows how close you are to the next one.

1. Go to Packs and tap a pack.
2. Choose Open ×1 or Open ×5, or use − and + to open 10, 15, 20… up to 50 at once.
3. Tap the pack (or Reveal all) to skip the animation. Turn on Quick open for faster openings.

There are 207 packs. Tap Drop rates on any pack to see every blob inside and its chance.

From most to least common: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Chroma and Mystical. Every pack has its own Chroma and Mystical blobs. Rarer blobs are worth more when you sell them.

That's the pity meter. You're guaranteed a Legendary or better within 80 pulls, counting all packs. When you get one, the count starts over. The bar on the opening screen shows how close you are.

These are premium packs where every blob is Rare or better. The Mystic and Ancient packs have the same odds, including 2 Chroma and 2 Mystical blobs each. The Mystical Creatures Pack is full of legendary beasts. Their blobs are never sold in the Weekly Shop.

• Seasonal packs open only during their month (for example, Haunted Harvest in October).
• The Vault has 4 packs, and only one is open each week. It changes every Monday.
• Holiday Minis open only around Valentine's Day (Feb 7–14), Pi Day (Mar 10–16), Earth Day (Apr 18–25), the end of the school year (May 25–Jun 15) and Halloween (Oct 24–31).
• Scholar Packs must be earned (see Tokens & rewards).

Blobs you pull from limited packs are yours forever and can be traded any time.

It can give you any blob from any pack, chosen by rarity. Tap Drop rates to see the chances for each rarity.

Each pack shows its price. To open several at once you need enough for all of them. Claim your daily reward, play a Stash, or sell duplicates to get more.

Open Blobs. Use the tabs to see blobs by pack group. Ones you haven't found yet show as "???". The Banners tab shows your profile banners.

In Blobs, tap a blob you own and choose Set as avatar, or tap a banner and choose Equip banner. Your avatar and banner show on your profile, the leaderboard and in live games.

Tap a blob and choose Sell. You can pick how many. To sell every extra copy at once and keep one of each, tap Sell duplicates on the Blobs page. Sell prices: Common 5, Uncommon 10, Rare 25, Epic 75, Legendary 200, Chroma 600, Mystical 2,500 tokens.

Find every blob in a pack, then tap Claim reward in that pack's progress. You get the pack's price × 40 tokens plus an exclusive Master banner that can't be bought.

The shop restocks every Monday. It sells 8 banners (plus a Chroma banner every third week), one of them 40% off, and four Blobs of the week: one Uncommon (150), one Rare (400), one Epic (1,200) and one Legendary (5,000 tokens). You can buy each blob of the week once per week.

Yes. Your username, avatar, banner and collection are on your public profile (☰ → My public profile). If you're in the top 20, your token total shows on the Leaderboard. Your password, trades in progress and friends list are private.

1. Go to Trades → New trade, or tap Quick trade on Home.
2. Choose the player.
3. Add what you'll give and what you want. That can be blobs, banners and/or tokens.
4. Tap Send trade offer.

They can Accept, Decline or send a Counter offer. You can have up to 15 pending trades. Accepted trades are final, so check carefully!

• Check every item on both sides before you accept.
• Use Drop rates and sell prices to judge what something is worth.
• Never trade for real money, gift cards or anything outside Blobstash. That's against the rules.
• If someone pressures you, just decline.

The Market lets you buy and sell items for tokens with any player. To sell, tap Sell an item, choose it and set a price. The item is held until it sells or you cancel it. You can have up to 25 listings at once, and there's no fee.

On Market, search or filter by rarity and price, then tap Buy on a listing. Your own listings are under My listings, where you can Cancel one to get the item back.

In Trades, use the Sent tab to cancel an offer you made. The History tab shows trades from the last 14 days.

On the Home page, type a username in Add a friend by username and send a request. When they accept, you can see each other in your friends list, send quick trades, and invite each other to stashes and live games.

Tap Invite a friend to a stash on Home, or Invite friends on a stash. Friends see the invite on their Home page. Invites to play a stash last a week, and live-game invites last 2 hours.

On your Home page Friends list, you can cancel or decline requests and dismiss invites. To remove a friend, open their profile and tap Unfriend.

No. Blobstash has no chat and no private messages. That's on purpose, to keep it safe for students.

Leaderboard shows the top players by tokens and by number of different blobs collected.

A Stash is a set of multiple-choice questions. There are 107 official Stashes for grades 4–6 in Math, Geography, Science, Space, Social Studies, English, Life Skills, Tech and Spanish. Players also make their own.

Open Stashes, pick one, and choose a mode:

• Study: every question at your own pace, then review the ones you missed.
• Blob Fishing: each right answer catches a fish. Catch the heaviest haul in 3 minutes.
• Blitz: as many right answers as you can in 60 seconds. Wrong answers cost 3 seconds.

1. Go to Stashes → Create a stash.
2. Add a title, an optional description and a cover blob.
3. Add questions with 2–4 answers, and tap the circle next to the correct answer.
4. Choose who can see it, then tap Create stash (or Save changes).

You can have up to 50 Stashes, with up to 100 questions each.

Yes. In the editor, tap Paste many at once and paste one question per line, with the correct answer first, separated by |, like this:

• Everyone: anyone can find and play it in Discover.
• Anyone with the link: only people with the link can play it. It doesn't show in search.
• Only me: private. You can still assign it to your class as homework.

On the Stash page, tap Copy link, or Invite friends. To play it with a group, use Host a live game.

Open Stashes → My stashes, pick the Stash, and tap Edit or Delete. Deleting removes its scores too and can't be undone. To invite friends to a Stash, it has to be set to Everyone or Anyone with the link.

Each Stash page shows the Top scores for Blob Fishing and Blitz, plus your personal best. Live game scores count too.

Tap Report this stash at the bottom of its page. Stashes with several reports are hidden until an admin reviews them.

Every question needs text, 2–4 different answers, and a correct answer picked. Words that break the Community Guidelines aren't allowed in titles, questions or answers.

Tap Join a live game (on Home, or ☰ on a phone) and enter the 6-digit code on the host's screen. No account? Use Join a game with a code on the sign-in screen and pick a nickname.

1. Open any Stash and tap Host a live game.
2. Pick a mode and a length (minutes, or number of questions).
3. Choose whether you'll play too, and whether guests can join.
4. Teachers can pick a class so the report is saved there.
5. Tap Create game, share the code, and tap Start when everyone's in.

• Blob Fishing: each right answer catches a fish, and every 5 catches starts a ×2 Frenzy. Heaviest haul wins.
• Blitz: the most right answers wins. Wrong answers freeze you for 2 seconds.
• Treasure Stash: right answers open chests with gold, doubles, losses, or a chance to swipe or swap gold with someone.
• Blob Dash: a race. Right answers move you forward, and 4 in a row gives a boost.
• Blob Factory: hire blob workers that make coins every second.
• Stash Showdown: everyone gets the same question, and faster right answers score more.
• Last Blob Standing: same questions for all, 3 hearts each, and the last one left wins.

Up to 60 players per game, or 300 when the host has Blobstash Plus.

The host can tap × next to a name in the lobby to remove them. Removed players can't rejoin that game. Turn off guests when you create the game if you want only signed-in players.

• Invite friends from the lobby.
• Start when everyone's in.
• In Stash Showdown and Last Blob Standing, tap Reveal answer now or Next question to move faster.
• Tap End game now to finish early.
• After the podium, tap Host again to start a new game with the same settings (it gets a new code).

• Check the 6 digits with the host.
• Lobbies close after 30 minutes without starting, and finished games close after 15 minutes.
• If the host made a new game, it has a new code.
• Guests can't join games where the host turned guests off.

Reopen the game (Join a live game, same code). You'll come back with your score. Guests should rejoin from the same browser tab.

Yes. Signed-in players earn 2 tokens per right answer (within the daily limit). Guests don't earn tokens. In games hosted by a teacher with Plus for their class, students who get 5 or more right also get a 25-token class bonus, once per day.

Get the class code from your teacher (6 letters and numbers). Open Classes, type it and tap Join class. Until you've joined a class, there's also a join box on your Home page. Capital letters don't matter.

Your homework shows on your Home page and on Classes. Tap it to start. It opens in Study mode, so go at your own pace. Your teacher sees your progress as you go. You still earn tokens for right answers.

Your teacher sees how many you got right on the first try, and which ones you fixed later. Practicing the same Stash outside homework counts too, so do your best the first time!

• Make sure you joined the right class (Classes → "My classes").
• Your teacher may have archived the class or deleted the assignment.
• Homework disappears from the list a week after it was due.

Go to Classes and tap Leave next to the class. Your teacher won't see your homework anymore.

Tap Create account, pick a username and password, tick I'm a teacher, and tap Create account. Already have a player account? Go to Settings → Switch to teacher account.

1. Go to Classes and tap New class.
2. Name it (for example, "Period 3 Math") and tap Create class.
3. Share the class code shown on the class page. Tap Copy, or put it on the board.

Each student signs in, or makes an account in about a minute with no email needed, then enters your class code on Home or Classes. They appear under your class's Students tab. Tip: ask students not to use their real names as usernames.

1. Open the class and go to the Students tab.
2. Tap Reset password next to the student and confirm.
3. Give them the temporary password shown, for example gem-fox-163. Tap Copy if you want.

The student logs in with it and picks a new password. You can only reset passwords for student accounts in your own classes.

On a class page, tap Assign homework, search for any Stash (yours or official), pick the class and a due date, and tap Assign. You can also tap Assign as homework on any Stash page. Students do it in Study mode at their own pace.

On the class's Homework tab, tap Report. You'll see:

• who finished on time or late, is in progress, or hasn't started;
• each student's progress and accuracy on their first try;
• the hardest questions.

With Plus, you also get every student's answer to every question, a full question list, and a CSV download.

Every game you host is saved under Reports, in the left menu on a computer, ☰ on a phone, or the Teacher tools card on Home. If you picked a class when hosting, it's also on that class's Live game reports tab. The report shows every player's score, right and wrong answers, and accuracy. Plus adds a question-by-question breakdown and a CSV download.

• Remove a student: on the Students tab, tap Remove. If they rejoin later, their homework progress comes back.
• New code: on Settings (inside the class), tap Make a new code. The old code stops working. Students already in the class stay.

Open the class's Settings and tap Archive class. Students won't see it anymore, and your reports are kept. You can unarchive it later. Delete class removes the class, its homework and its homework reports for good.

• Rename: open the class, go to Settings, type the new name and tap Save.
• Delete homework: on the Homework tab, tap Delete next to the assignment.
• Delete a live report: open it and tap Delete.
• Switch back to a player account (Settings): first archive or delete all your classes.

Students never pay for anything.

• School code: if your school or district has a Blobstash license, enter its code (it looks like SCH-XXXXXXXX) on the Plus page and tap Redeem.
• Pay for yourself: on the Plus page, choose yearly or monthly. Checkout is secure, through Stripe.
• Schools and districts: email support@blobstash.com for a quote. Purchase orders are accepted.

On the Plus page, tap Manage billing to update your card, download receipts, or cancel. If you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

On the Plus page, tap Leave school license. That frees your seat for another teacher, and you go back to the free plan unless you have your own subscription.

Free accounts can have 2 active classes and 3 active homework assignments at once. Archive old classes, or let homework pass its due date. Plus raises the limits to 50 classes and 500 active homework.

Blobstash collects only a username and password from students. There's no email, real name, chat or ads, and students can't buy anything. See the Privacy Policy (COPPA and FERPA sections). If your district needs a data privacy agreement, email support@blobstash.com.

• There's no chat and no private messages.
• No email or personal information is needed.
• There are no ads, and nothing to buy. Tokens and packs are only earned by playing.
• Usernames and stash text are filtered for inappropriate words.
• Players can report stashes, and admins review them.

Your child can delete their account in Settings → Delete my account. You can also email support@blobstash.com with their username to ask what we have or to delete it. See the Privacy Policy.

Tokens from quiz answers are capped at 300 a day, and the daily reward is once a day. That gives a natural stopping point.

Only one essential cookie, to keep you signed in. Our visit counter uses no cookies. Change your choice any time in Settings → Cookie settings or on the Cookie Policy page.

Be kind, keep personal information private, play fair, and don't trade for real money. Read the full Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Tell a teacher or parent, and email support@blobstash.com with their username and what happened. Report bad Stashes with the Report this stash link.

Names can't contain rude words, and can't be "admin" or similar. Pick something fun that isn't your real name.

• Refresh the page.
• Check your internet connection or school Wi-Fi.
• The first visit after a quiet period can take a few extra seconds.
• Try a different browser, such as Chrome, Safari or Edge.

Ask your school's IT team to allow blobstash.com. Live games also need WebSockets (wss://) on the same address.

Tap the speaker button at the top of the pack-opening screen.

To stop spam, there are limits on how many stashes, trades, listings, friend requests and invites you can create per hour. Take a short break and try again.

A lot of accounts were just created on the same Wi-Fi. Wait an hour, or have some students sign up later.

Refresh the page first. Everything is saved on our servers, so your collection is safe even if you switch devices. Still wrong? Email support@blobstash.com with your username.
