BlobstashTerms of Service

Welcome to Blobstash! These Terms are an agreement between you and Blobstash. By using Blobstash, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you're under 18, please read these with a parent or guardian.
1. Who can use Blobstash
- Kids under 13 may use Blobstash with a parent's or guardian's permission, or through their school with the school's permission.
- If you use Blobstash for a class or school, you confirm you're allowed to, and that you'll follow your school's rules for online tools, including getting any consent the school requires.
2. Your account
Keep your password secret and don't share your account. Pick a username that isn't your real name and doesn't break the Community Guidelines. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell a teacher or contact us if you think someone else is using it.
3. Tokens, packs, blobs and banners
- Virtual items are just for fun. They have no real-world money value, can't be bought with real money, and can't be exchanged for money or anything outside Blobstash.
- Don't buy, sell or trade Blobstash items or accounts for real money or anything outside the game.
- Trades and market sales are final once accepted. We may undo trades that involve cheating, scams or bugs.
- We may change how the game works, including drop rates, prices, packs and rewards. We may also fix mistakes, such as items given by a bug.
4. Things you make
You keep ownership of the stashes and other content you create. You give us permission to host, show and copy it so Blobstash can work. If you make a stash public, other players and teachers may play it and assign it. Only post content you have the right to share. Don't copy copyrighted material, like textbook questions, unless you're allowed to.
5. Rules
Don't: bully, harass or threaten anyone; post hateful, violent, sexual or personal information; cheat, use bots or scripts, or exploit bugs; try to break into accounts or our systems; overload or scrape the service; or pretend to be someone else. See the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, rename accounts, reset progress gained by cheating, or suspend or delete accounts that break the rules.
6. Teachers, Blobstash Plus and school licenses
- Plus subscriptions are for teachers. They're billed through Stripe and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Plus page (Manage billing). Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable for partial periods.
- Prices may change. If they do, we'll tell you before your next renewal.
- School licenses give a set number of teacher seats for a set time, under the school's order or agreement with us. If that agreement and these Terms conflict, the school agreement wins.
- Teachers may only use student information from Blobstash for their class's educational purposes.
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Blobstash infringes your copyright, email support@blobstash.com with the content's location, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights. We'll review it and remove infringing content.
8. Our content
The Blobstash name, logo, blob art, game design and software belong to Blobstash. You may not copy or reuse them except as part of normal use of the service.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Blobstash and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we shut down Blobstash, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
10. Disclaimers
Blobstash is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running and the official stashes accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or correct.
11. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Blobstash isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost virtual items. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Disputes
Please contact us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the operator of Blobstash is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer-protection laws where you live.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we'll show a notice in the app. If you keep using Blobstash after the changes, you accept them.
